The Giant Fossa
The giant fossa recently became extinct.They were sort of like pumas.They ate mainly lemurs and small animals.In the seventeen hundreds, There were only a few left.

Save the Pandas!!!!
Pandas are really close to extinction. People are breeding them all over the world.A panda's diet consists of mainly bamboo. There are only around 160 pandas living in zoos today but only around 1600 both in and out of zoos.

Delany's Swamp Mouse
The Delaney's swamp mouse is the only one in its genus.Its genus is delanymys brooksi. A genus is a group of animals that have similar characteristics. It is also the smallest mammal existent. As you can see, it has a long tail and a dark gray pelt.Its stomach has a thin white pelt. They live in marshes surrounded by bamboo.

This is a giant elephant shrew also known as a Sengi. They are a new species of mammal found in 2008. it is a mix of a small anteater and a mini antelope. It is the size of a cat with an amber pelt. The Sengi has a long tough snout with small, stubby legs.
